My surname is Tham. So I rather call this blog as “tham chiak”. In local language “tam chiak” mean greedy in eating.

hmm…. seems like u are having the same name like one of our tuapui is having…

Hi!
I found your blog at N.Y Times` website.
I lived in Penang from 2004 to 2006 and another 3 years in KL, and now I`m back to Korea. (I`m a Korean.)

It was such a wonderful pleasure to see all those foods again that I loved and enjoyed so much while I was in M`sia.
(Leng Looi Tong Sui of Jelutong, Chee Chong Furn, Pancake at hawker store, Yataimura, old memories all come back.)
I always regretted that I did not take picture of Penang food, but now I know that I can see them in your blog. Thank you!
I`m the biggest fan of your blog, well, at least in Korea.

I do hope I can see more photos of great M`sian food,
and if we can talk about M`sian food on your blog, that`ll be awesome. Cheers!
